Its inaugural batch, labeled AAH0320, is skillfully composed with precise attention to detail: a sweeping 94% of the bourbon originates from a traditional mash bill (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley), aged for an impressive 5 years and 4 months. The remaining 6% hails from a high-rye mash bill, delicately aged for 6 years and 2 months, contributing to a complex depth of flavor. The brand's guardian, San Francisco's esteemed Hotaling & Co., has commenced the release of The Horizon in select markets, starting in the summer of 2020.
