Gran Centenario Anejo is crafted using the "Selección Suave" process, a unique and proprietary technique that involves blending different batches of tequila aged in American oak casks to achieve a smooth yet complex flavor profile that characterizes our product. This 100% blue agave añejo tequila is aged in new French Limousin oak barrels for up to 36 months, a type of oak typically used to age cognac rather than tequila. The agaves used in our tequila are sourced from Los Altos in Jalisco.
The tequila is aged in new French Limousin oak barrels for up to 36 months, which contributes to its unique flavor profile. The oak barrels impart notes of vanilla, caramel, and spice to the tequila, which complement the agave flavors.
Gran Centenario Anejo has won numerous awards and accolades for its quality, including a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition. It is best enjoyed neat or in cocktails that allow its complex flavors to shine through.
