Each year, in honor of his birthday, the First Bottled Bourbon™ unveils a special, vintage-dated edition: the Birthday Bourbon. This year's September 2nd unveiling marks the 23rd exclusive edition. Curated by Master Distiller-Emeritus Chris Morris and Master Taster Melissa Rift, this distinct small batch bourbon boasts a flavor and character that's truly one-of-a-kind.
The 2023 Birthday Bourbon is showcased at 96 proof. After standing out with its unparalleled character during a tasting session, 12-year-old barrels were handpicked specifically for this Birthday Bourbon edition. Every bottle from this release originates from barrels filled on the very same production day.
